At Carlsbad Pop Warner, our coaches play a vital role in shaping the experience of every young athlete in our program. More than just teaching football or cheer, our coaches are mentors, leaders, and role models dedicated to developing character, confidence, and teamwork.

Our coaching staff is responsible for teaching athletes the fundamentals of the game, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants. Each coach works to build skills, encourage discipline, and help every player reach their full potential both on and off the field. Youth sports coaches are responsible for planning activities, supervising athletes, and providing proper instruction in a safe environment.

Certification & Safety

All Carlsbad Pop Warner coaches are required to complete:

• Background checks

• Required Pop Warner certifications

• USA Football or YCADA training programs focused on athlete safety and development
